Between shadows and Smoke
The subtle magic between the mist

Let's take a look at a very beautiful publication. For this review we will try something different.

What we have here today is one of the most recent publications of an artist we have already talked about in this blog.
I refer to the talented EnGy | Th3Cat, who in this occasion shows us this set of images under the title "Smoke ghost", conformed by a set of 10 images, (of which I only bring 5 for you in this article) has a semi-realistic aesthetic presentation with solid animation style and a representation of an AI-Model of feminine silhouette who I will refer in this review as Catherine (unofficial name) for a better development.
At first glance, we can identify EnGy | Th3Cat's characteristic style, who is accustomed to stylised physiques with delicate features and light physical proportions.
But we can also appreciate that, although the work we are talking about is static and, at least at the time of this review, does not have animation, the 10 images as a whole convey a movement in which Catherine seems to flow with the smoke that surrounds her.
Melting into each other, until they seem like a single presence.
What's special about it is the excellent environmental selection, with dazzlingly contrasting colours, the way EnGy uses smoke to highlight Catherine, and a lot of patience to get each image into the perfect pose.
It is in this part where there is room for interpretation;
While the title "Smoke ghost" evokes the idea of interpreting Catherine as an elemental being emerging as a beautiful silhouette shrouded in smoke and faint moonlight, appearing to be some kind of apparition.
It could also be interpreted as a glamorous top model gliding down a catwalk while the smoke would be an atmospheric effect in a mysterious and ghostly theme.
Or my particular point of view that leads me to see Catherine in the middle of a fluid and sensual dance, in which the smoke becomes the perfect setting; focusing on her, making her the centre of our attention, so that everything else doesn't matter because our gaze is fixed on her movements and beauty.
-But that could be achieved by anyone with a proper AI, a simple presentation placed in such a way as to appear to give movement to a static image shouldn't be that difficult. what's so special about it?
What we have here is proof that it's up to the artist to translate his own style into the art he publishes.
Proof that an Al engine is nothing more than a different kind of paintbrush, one that in the right hands turns commands and words into art.
I also forgot to mention that this presentation is accompanied by a very appropriate musical selection so that the ears can relate the melody to what the eyes see.
Visit our friend EnGy | Th3Cat's channel, see for yourself the complete publication and make your own decision.
It's definitely a great thing.
