Important: this is the conclusion of a 3 part article, we already touched on the opinions of some digital artists about censorship, in this occasion we will only close with an analysis of the average opinions and the arguments that each creator has about it.

Again, I thank all those who gave their opinions and shared their thoughts on this issue.

While there is not much more that can be added on the pro and con points, it can be said that in percentage terms, the number of pro-censorship comments is higher.

Mostly because of the problems involved in using realistic figures based on real people instead of AI-models to create images, videos or audios, which could put at risk both the safety and the integrity of someone, I mean nudity or beyond.

But that is not valid enough to be considered a point in favour of banning the creation of certain types of content.

But what about for publication on private servers or perhaps for illegal use.

It is true that it is a dilemma, but the situation is that I personally refer to censorship and digital art, I cannot judge or validate the use that other human sectors give to these tools, taking content creators as a reference.

All technology means danger in the wrong hands, but you don't take the fire away from humanity to prevent them from trying to burn something.

Is censorship necessary?

It would seem so, but that doesn't make it a good thing, most platform and social media users who share their creations self-censor to avoid conflicts with publishing regulations.

and those who prefer more, shall we say, adult content, prefer to use their own or commonly used AI-models, as most of them want to be known for their art and stand out in some way, so it is counterproductive to show inappropriate material.

The point is that those who are used to take advantage of anything without worrying about who they might harm in the process, will do so regardless of censorship, however the artist will be harmed by having restrictions on the creative process, so some will end up resorting to more permissive tools that have acceptable quality.

in the end, censorship ends up being only a drawback, a way of delaying what is unavoidable. art should not have censorship, but humanity needs it.
