Let's meet Teekay: Originally from Rotterdam / Netherlands, who today is a very talented 42-year-old digital artist who enjoys music, a good meal with friends and sports or retro games.
He has a presence in the AI world since November 2022 and more than 17 years of experience as a digital artist in mixed media designs, as well as commercially working since 2019 in "Thekonsept", his own company.
Before being a digital artist, he was a tattoo artist, however, a serious and unfortunate event caused Teekay a serious damage, limiting his motor skills, this caused (among other things), his tattooing skills to be negatively affected.
Without a doubt a situation like this could sap anyone's spirit, but in spite of this and being affected both emotionally and mentally, Teekay has not given up and, although in a different way, he has not stopped creating art, this time retaking the line as an AI artist, and quite an outstanding one to be honest.

Teekay creates each of his works with a different goal in mind. Although this work has a commercial purpose, he knows that he also designs them for himself, motivated by the desire to meet more art lovers in the process.
Knowing that art is a form of expression and that, depending on the situation, it can go into a much deeper approach, this activity has helped him to deal with difficult moments that have taken their toll on his mental health.
It is important to stress that neither art, nor any other activity would replace professional support...
During his creative process he uses some of the best established Ai tools, such as MidJourney for the initial stages, as well as PhotoShop for cleaning up the higher quality images, or Leonardo.AI for the use of some of his enhancers and upscalers.
His motivation comes from being able to grow and be one of the people who will be at the forefront of this revolutionary start-up AI world.
Trying to find out what he can achieve is what inspires him to create digital art.
But it is possible to use it in a therapeutic way to fight against our problems. Even if you just want to see it as a simple pastime, the state of synchrony that you achieve with your own creativity and your feelings, can be that extra push that will help you to overcome stress, anxiety or depression.
Although he considers himself a multifaceted person, he has worked a lot to give a modern touch and a more in depth focus onto tricking the eye.
In my opinion; his work shows a style of fantasy and fiction in an ultra-realistic version, the aesthetics between one and another of his publications does change quite a lot, taking us from a melancholic scene to a surrealistic exposition.
His works have varied and complex themes, ranging from unique and epic designs to extraordinary versions of some well-known characters.
