Respect in the community
a sincere request

It is inevitable that in every community, no matter what social circle, subject or hobby we are talking about, there is always some kind of problem.

Among the digital artists I have had the opportunity to meet, there is a lot of respect. Regardless of their origin or language, they seem to get along well, it is quite nice to know that they support each other and that most of them even follow their work with positive criticism and encouraging comments to each other.
Nonetheless, although there are many people who like this type of art and who support it every day waiting to see what new image their favorite artist will have in his next publication.
I'm not going to lie, I have seen some works that in my particular taste I can't appreciate or maybe they don't go with me, but that doesn't give me the right to insult the artist.
If I don't think I can comment something useful I prefer just not to say anything,
with all this I just want to say one thing, please, let's treat each other with respect, in everything, not only in digital art, but I take advantage that this community is still very young so that we try not to become toxic.
Unfortunately, in the last few days I have also seen a lot of negative comments and discriminatory criticisms in various aspects.
That I don't like your art, that the artist is a woman, that he is a foreigner, that I don't understand what the publication means, that I don't know the character, that your work doesn't count because everything is done by an IA... etc... etc.
It's bad enough that people demean this activity by undervaluing the creativity and talent of the people who dedicate so much time or ingenuity to the images, videos or interactive experiences they develop, so that in addition to that, they receive comments that were made simply to bother them..
I have no intention of giving real examples, because frankly it is not worth giving more relevance to those who do not wish to interact respectfully with others.
I should mention that previously in a literature convention that takes place annually in my country, I had the bad experience of listening to a lecturer (who supposedly went to motivate young people to be interested in reading) criticizing the waste of time it means to read science fiction instead of taking advantage of your time in a self-development or personal growth book.
But no, it is not, it will never be a waste of time to dedicate part of your day to what you like to do.
Even many of the most creative digital artists that I have met, keep a moment between their jobs and family to continue creating, trying to maintain (something that today is very difficult to keep) the constancy of having at least one publication a day.
I support that effort, and those who have lived through it also respect it. And the same goes for sports communities, video game communities, music genres, and the list goes on...
i don't ask you not to judge, on the contrary i invite you to comment both positive and negative things, but always with respect. we don't gain anything by bothering others, who do this art precisely to show it to the world. give your opinion and if you don't like something also comment it but in a productive way.
In the worst case, if you don't like something, you can always turn the page or slide, if I make myself clear.
