However, I am no authority on this topic. Therefore, if you are reading this, I would appreciate it if you could share some ideas with me about what we could call each specific style and thus have our own glossary of terms and styles for this digital art that we like so much. I will leave a very small form for listen to your ideas, and together we can establish more formal categories with which we can all understand each other when talking about our favorite works.

Impressionism, Baroque, Cubism... In "physical" art there are these artistic currents / movements that characterize a historical period defined, framing it with its own essence and era.

There are also very marked styles related to a specific artist Botero, Monet, Matisse, Van Gogh... names that remained reflected in the world of art thanks to the way in which the artist, through a very particular way of expressing himself took over, metaphorically, an entire subcategory of its own corresponding artistic movement

Connoisseurs would without hesitation recognize each of these terms in the works of a painter immediately, whether due to the colors used, the type of scene, the movements of the stroke or the theme.

But when starting this project I realized that; The fact that many people despise this activity has deprived us of giving it the formality it deserves. And in the world of digital art we still do not have a glossary that helps us categorize the works of art that emerge day by day. Maybe it is because it is still a fairly new discipline, but it is necessary that we ourselves begin to give importance to digital art. otherwise we couldn't expect others to do it.

Therefore, we could not, or should not, use the same established terms of physical art to refer to the characteristics of an image created with AI engines.

I am aware that some of the tools we use to create digital art even come with options to try to resemble some of the artistic movements I talked about at the beginning of this article, but I do not consider it correct to categorize digital art in the same way shape.

It would be like trying to classify photography and landscaping in the same way, although both can give us spectacular scenes, there is no relationship between them.

As an example, some artists refer to images similar to this as Pixar style... which among other issues could have legal implications if seeking monetization, so when referring to this type of image I do it as "CARTOON SOLID"..

I'm not necessarily looking for new terms or complex words, but I'm looking for structure and some seriousness.

I myself commit to forming and constantly updating an article precisely with the name Glossary, to structure the same language as a whole.

I thank you for reading this and I hope you can participate in this activity and be part of this process.
